Recruitment Process

Recruitment Process:

The following methods are adopted for recruitment of Group A, B & C Posts at Heavy Water Board:
Direct Recruitment / appointment through Category I and II Stipendiary Training Scheme
  1. Vacancies are notified in Employment News after approval of the Competent Authority
  2. Wide publicity is given by publishing the advertisement in reputed news papers, Government Employment Portal, Heavy Water Board’s website, Circulars to all the DAE and its Constituent Units across the country
  3. Vacancies are notified to the Local Employment Exchange/Central Employment Exchange
  4. Reservation of posts is determined by scrupulously following the guidelines issued by Nodal Ministry i.e Department of Personnel & Training
  5. Recruitment Norms framed by Department of Atomic Energy / Department of Personnel & Training is followed
  6. Applications are normally invited online from public
  7. Screening of the applications by the Standing Screening committee is conducted whenever applications for recruitment is carried out offline
  8. Call letters to eligible candidates are issued online through Recruitment Agency for written test / interviews / skill test, wherever applicable Intimation regarding call letters is sent through email and SMS to the candidates
  9. After written test / skill test / interview (wherever applicable), result is declared in HWB’s website
  10. Character & Antecedent verification is done in respect of Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts in direct recruitment prior to appointment For Group ‘A’ posts and candidates inducted through Stipendiary Training Scheme, Character & Antecedent verification is done simultaneously
  11. Offer of appointment is issued indicating conditions of appointment with full details like name of the post, Pay Level in the Pay Matrix, date of joining etc with direction to appear for Medical Examination by appropriate Medical Authority After Medical Fitness certificate form appropriate Medical Authority appointment is issued
  12. Candidates inducted in Stipendiary Training Scheme of two years are paid stipend as approved by the Department of Atomic Energy
  13. Security Bond is obtained from the candidates inducted in training scheme
