In accordance with the guidelines received from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Official Language, and the Department of Atomic Energy, employees working in the Heavy Water Board (Central Office) are nominated for Hindi training as follows.
This includes training in Hindi Prabodh, Praveen, and Pragya courses. The required training is provided according to the designation of the employees. As per the roster available in the office, almost all employees of the Board have acquired a working knowledge of Hindi.
As per the instructions received from the Department of Atomic Energy, a mini computer training center has been established at the Heavy Water Board (Central Office) to provide employees with training in working in Hindi on computers. Since November 2017, employees of all levels have been receiving this training. So far, 214 employees have been trained at this center.
To enable employees to work effectively in Hindi, Hindi workshops are organized regularly on a quarterly basis. These workshops are conducted under the aegis of the Joint Official Language Coordination Committee of the five units of the Department of Atomic Energy located at Anushaktinagar, namely HWB, DPS, NFCSC, BRIT, and AERB. A total of 84 such workshops have been conducted so far.
Stenographers of the Heavy Water Board are also nominated for Hindi stenography training. The stenography instructor from the Department of Official Language conducts training at the NPCIL office located in Vikram Sarabhai Bhavan, where Heavy Water Board stenographers are regularly nominated for training. In the current batch, two stenographers from HWB are undergoing this training.
In the current batch of the Hindi Parangat training organized by the Department of Official Language at NPCIL, Mumbai, six employees of the Heavy Water Board have been nominated.
Thus, adequate arrangements have been made in the Board for providing the necessary Hindi training to ensure the successful implementation of the Official Language Hindi.
